Since humans first "broke the
surly bonds of Earth," we
have met the challenge
of spaceflight. Some
made the ultimate
sacrifice, giving
their lives to
explore the
starry realm.
We honor them
with this sublime
Celestial Memorial,
the PLEIADES, the
cluster of blue-white
stars in the constellation Taurus.
Please look at the Pleiades on clear, moonless nights
and remember all the space travelers now enshrined in the deep, starry domain.
